  4. "I was in HEB Plus in Waco and I saw this girl at the cash register who had a Chi-O shirt on. I went up and asked her if she was a Chi-Omega, and she was. And I thought that was so neat because I was one too! I pledged in 1977.""

  6. I went to Disneyland, ate McConnell's ice ceam in the sunshine, went roller skating beside the ocean, got high tea in Beverly Hills, tried a cronut for the first time, and spent the week with one of my favorite people. The whole trip was my favorite, am I allowed to answer that way?"

Articles, Essays, and Hyperlocal Project
I intend to keep up-to-date on articles I write.  I have posted all of my articles here on this site to give a brief portfolio of my work within my Rhetoric BIC course as well as my introductory Journalism course on Reporting and Writing.

The Instagram Project seen above is one that I would love to continue; the project centered around asking a "Question of the Week" to different people I'd meet around Waco.  The project started many interesting conversations, and I was presently surprised by how open people were with me and how candidly they spoke.  I tried to capture a few of their words here, anonymous tokens of wisdom or recollections of memories.

The Hyperlocal project is a specific group project through my Journalism course; we have jointly created a website with articles and social media focused on the history of Baylor University.  This has lead us to interview current students and alumni, faculty and staff as well as pursue a well-rounded knowledge of Baylor's long-standing traditions and values.  All of this can be found on the website link below.
